The legendary Bruichladdich Yellow Submarine is back for 2026, released as WMD IV: Yellow Submarine [Reclassified] to celebrate Bruichladdich’s 25th anniversary. It follows the original 2005 release and the 2018 edition, bringing one of the distillery’s most recognisable stories back to life.
Bottled at 14 years old and a powerful 54.2% ABV, this new release is matured in 75% first-fill Bourbon barrels and 25% first- and second-fill Bordeaux red wine casks — a modern reworking of the original Yellow Submarine recipe.
Expect honeyed oats, toasted hazelnut, crème brûlée, orange zest, orchard fruit, warming spice and a touch of sea salt, with a long, rich finish.
