The Epiphone 1958 Korina Flying V is a premium, highly praised recreation of one of thge rarest and most legendary electric guitars in history, developed in close partnership with the Gibson Custom Shop. Built using solid African limba wood (historically designated as “Korina” by Gibson in the late 1950s), this “Inspired by Gibson Custom” reissue delivers authentic vintage specs, elite-tier hardware, and standard-setting electronics at a fraction of the cost of a Gibson Custom Shop original.

Key Specifications

Body & Neck Material: Two-piece solid Korina body with a set-in Korina neck featuring a comfortable ’58 Flying V profile.

Electronics: Genuine USA-made Gibson Burstbucker 2 (neck) and Burstbucker 3 (bridge) humbuckers.

Wiring: Hand-wired with CTS® potentiometers, premium Mallory™ capacitors, and a Switchcraft® 3-way selector switch and output jack.

Fretboard: Indian Laurel fingerboard with a 12″ radius, 24.75″ scale length, and 22 medium jumbo frets.

Hardware: Gold-plated ABR-1 Tune-o-matic bridge paired with a classic string-through-body chevron tailpiece.
