A tasty example of Fender’s Japanese-made interpretation of the classic 1970s Telecaster Custom, this Made in Japan Traditional model combines the unmistakable Telecaster shape with the distinctive Wide Range humbucker and single-coil pickup combination that made the original so desirable. The ash body, maple neck and vintage-style appointments give it plenty of traditional Fender character, while the 9.5″ radius and “U” shaped neck make it comfortable and versatile to play. Tonally, the Wide Range humbucker provides a fuller, warmer voice from the neck, while the bridge single-coil delivers the familiar Telecaster snap and definition.
