Gibson Les Paul Special TV Yellow P90’s

🎸Gibson Les Paul Special TV Yellow🎸

The Les Paul Special has earned its place as a classic Gibson model and this version pays tribute to the golden era that brought it to life. First introduced in 1955, the Les Paul Special has had a long and influential history, being the choice of many musicians across the last 60+ years. The fat 50s style mahogany neck is comfortable to play and the rosewood fingerboard gives that familiar feel under your fingers. A pair of P-90 pickups deliver all of those gritty sounds that only a P-90 can get, while still retaining a smoothness when you back off the volume. This is a model that remains relevant due to the simplicity and playability that it offers.

Features We Love:

P-90 Pickups

Based on the Les Paul Junior, the P-90 is present in the bridge but there is also an additional one in the neck. This opens up more tonal options with the ability to switch between that classic growling bridge crunch and the smoother neck for solos and leads.

Wraparound Tailpiece

Keeping things simple and easy, the wraparound tailpiece not only looks stylish but has some tonal benefits. It gives great sustain and resonance making it perfect for those big classic rock riffs or some silky blues vibrato.

Neck Binding

Adding to the overall elegance of the guitar, the neck binding is a beautiful touch. Visually it adds just the right amount of detail and ties in with the 5 ply pickguard to give an understated but classy appearance.

Pros:

A traditional model from Gibson

Loads of great tones from the pair of P-90s
