The GlenAllachie 30 Year Old Batch 2 is one of the distillery’s most prestigious releases — a marriage of exceptionally aged Speyside whisky personally selected by Billy Walker from just eight casks.
Whiskies from 1990 and 1991 were drawn from six Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso Sherry casks alongside two American virgin oak barrels, creating a seriously rich, old-school GlenAllachie profile.
Bottled at a natural cask strength of 50.8% ABV, expect layers of dark chocolate, figs, orange zest, treacle and raisins, with heather honey, mocha and warming spice running throughout.
What makes Batch 2 especially desirable is the scale of the release — only 2,000 bottles were produced globally, and this exact batch will not be repeated.0
