You’ve looked at it. But have you really looked at it?
Drawing has a funny way of making you notice things.
The shape of someone’s nose. The way somebody stands while waiting for a bus. The collection of objects accumulating on a kitchen table.
This Observation to Illustration course at the Quentin Blake Centre for Illustration is an opportunity to take that looking a little further and explore how observations from the world around us can become illustrations of your own.
It’s not simply about learning to draw something accurately. It’s about deciding what you notice, what you choose to exaggerate, what you leave out and what eventually finds its way onto the page.
Perhaps you’ve always enjoyed drawing but never really known where to take it next.
This might give you somewhere to start.
The course is worth £284.
If the course isn’t for you, the winner can choose the £255 cash alternative instead.
