Pro-Ject Debut E Carbon Turntable & Q Acoustics 3030c Speakers

Equipped with everything needed for top quality sound and ease of use, the Pro-Ject Debut E Carbon is built to impress.
High spec turntable for less

The Pro-Ject Debut E Carbon is the company’s entry carbon tonearm-equipped turntable. Usually found on more expensive decks, the 8.6” carbon tonearm delivers a significant upgrade in sound. But that’s not all that impresses about this deck. The MDF plinth and heavy steel platter ensure smooth, distortion-free playback. Electronic speed control makes for ease of use, as does the high quality, pre-adjusted Ortofon 2M Red cartridge.
Precision build for precise sound

Rather than plastic, the Pro-Ject Debut E Carbon features a high quality MDF plinth. This provides a rigid support that also damps vibrations. The 1.7kg steel platter ensures smooth and stable running, with a felt mat to damp vibrations. A high precision stainless steel bearing delivers low friction and long-lasting playback. Put together, the precision engineering means that you get to enjoy richly-balanced, low distortion sound that’s a big step-up from more basic turntables.
Electronic speed control

For ease of use, the Debut E Carbon features electronic speed control. Rather than having to lift the platter and manually change the belt position on the pulley, a change from 33 to 45 speed happens at the click of a switch. The deck also features a manually adjusted 78rpm pulley (78rpm stylus is recommended but not included).
Carbon fibre tonearm for a clearer connection to your music

Star of the show is the high-spec carbon tonearm. Usually found on more expensive turntables, this provides significant benefits to the sound quality. Being stiffer than steel, the tonearm is more rigid, which helps reproduce the music more accurately. In short, the music sounds tighter, punchier and more detailed.
Ortofon 2M Red cartridge included

Matching the quality of the deck and tonearm, the Debut E Carbon is supplied with an Ortofon 2M Red cartridge. Usually priced at around £80 on its own, this top quality cartridge ensures a high standard of connection with your records. The highly polished, tipped elliptical diamond gives excellent tracking without causing excessive wear to your vinyl.

Designed for the ultimate in bass response, from a standmount speaker, the Q Acoustics 3030c powers deep to the heart of your music.
Deep, powerful sound from a standmount speaker

The Q Acoustics 3030c speakers are the largest standmounters in the 3000c range, making them ideal for dynamic sound in medium-sized to larger rooms. Using an even larger woofer cone, these speakers go deeper still and hit harder than the smaller 3020c and 3010c models. Although larger in size, the curved edges and sleek design means that these speakers still sit harmoniously in your room. With a choice of four finishes, it’s also easy to get the perfect look for your décor.
Smooth yet detailed at the top end

With technology derived from Q Acoustics’ high-end Concept models, the hermetically sealed and mechanically isolated tweeter units deliver a super-smooth top-end response. Mechanical decoupling effectively isolates the tweeter from vibrations, letting you hear every detail in the recording, no matter how subtle.
Game changing mid-range and bass

One of the biggest upgrades from previous 3030 models, is the adoption of the Q Acoustics C3 woofer cone. Previously used in the 5000-series, the C3 (Continuous Curved Cone) woofer unit transforms the sound of this impressive speaker. By creating the perfect cone profile and using a powerful magnet, you get low distortion, seamless sound. The woofer design also enhances the music’s dynamics, with a bass response that’s not just impressively deep but also tightly damped for a punchy response.
P2P cabinet bracing for the lowest distortion

For the drivers to deliver their best response, a rigid cabinet design is crucial. Q Acoustics deploy their P2P (Point-to-Point) bracing, which effectively enhances rigidity and reduces cabinet distortion. Reducing cabinet distortion lets the drive units operate at their optimum, giving a cleaner, more focused sound.
A style to suit your tastes

The 3000c-series features an elegant one-piece driver trim. Finished in satin chrome (for white models) or satin nickel (other models), this subtle finish makes the speakers look even sleeker and more cohesive than before. For the style that best suits your room and taste, you can choose between Satin Black, Satin White and new Pin Oak and Claro Walnut cabinet colours.
