2011 STANDARD HOLLOWBODY IN VINTAGE SUNBURST

The PRS SE Hollowbody Standard in McCarty Vintage Sunburst is  a highly regarded, vintage inspired guitar known for combining the stability of a solid body instrument withe the resonant, acoustic warmth of a full hollowbody. Unlike other models in the lineup that incorporate maple, the Standard features an all-mahogany construction (top, middle, and back) that yields a distinctly warm, woody, and focused midrange.

Body Construction: Fully hollow chambered body with a small mahogany block directly beneath the bridge to maximize sustain and anchor the hardware while controlling feedback.

Neck Profile: 22-fret Mahogany set neck with a chunky “Wide Fat” shape. It has a 25-inch scale length, a 10-inch radius, and an Ebony fretboard adorned with the iconic PRS old-school bird inlays

Electronics: Outfitted with dual 58/15 “S” humbucking pickups (Treble/Bridge and Bass/Neck), controlled via a master volume, master tone, and a 3-way toggle pickup switch. These are voiced to mimic vintage late-50s humbuckers, emphasizing clarity and musical sweetness.

Hardware:

PRS Adjustable Stoptail bridge (allowing for fine-tuned intonation) and PRS-designed non-locking tuners with nickel hardware.
