The Macallan Boutique Collection 2020 Release + 40 Instant Wins | 3323!

Crown jewel of the Edrington Group and one of the best-known names in single malt Scotch, made famous by the legendary status of much of the whisky it has produced over the years, including its Fine & Rare series, Anniversary malts and flagship annual 18-year-old release.

The Boutique Collection releases are available exclusively at the Macallan Boutiques, a small selection of travel retail outlets at airports in London, Dubai and Taipei.

This was drawn from a selection of matured casks reserved only for distinguished guests visiting Easter Elchies House, the spiritual home of the Macallan.

Inspired by the River Spey that flows along our Speyside estate, home to our Distillery and Visitor Experience, The Macallan has embarked on a journey of celebration of famous water areas of the world. The iconic destination featured on this release is The Vermillion Lakes, located within Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada, where the tranquillity of The Macallan’s own home.

It is this, combined with a sense of continued exploration and thirst for experiences that has inspired The Macallan Boutique Collection, created exclusively for visitors to The Macallan Boutiques.

Defined by notes of sweet dried fruits, toffee and ginger, this single malt is the result of a superior craftsmanship calling on both American and European oak sherry-seasoned casks to create a balance of fruitiness and oak.
