THE MACALLAN CLASSIC CUT – 2025 EDITION
A bold, high-strength Macallan and the ninth release in the celebrated annual Classic Cut series, created to showcase a different expression of The Macallan’s unmistakable character.
Matured in a combination of sherry-seasoned European oak, sherry-seasoned American oak and ex-Bourbon casks, the 2025 Edition brings together rich sweetness, vibrant citrus and beautifully balanced oak influence.
Bottled at the Whisky Maker’s preferred strength of 50.6% ABV, expect aromas of orange oil, barley sugar, velvety milk chocolate, caramel wafer and creamy vanilla panna cotta, followed by fresh grapefruit, mandarin, lemon meringue and caramelised almonds on the palate.
The finish brings more grapefruit and melon with warming oak spice, while adding water reveals even more layers of fruit, vanilla and citrus — exactly what the Classic Cut series was designed to explore.
A powerful and beautifully presented limited annual release that deserves a place in any serious Macallan collection.
