The Volvo 850R Turbo Station Wagon was a legendary, high-performance sleeper from the mid-90s, known for its surprisingly potent 2.3L turbocharged inline-five engine producing around 240bhp, delivering 0-60mph in under 7 seconds in a practical, boxy station wagon body. In an absolute marketing masterstroke, Volvo entered the 850R Station wagon in to the BTCC championship in 1994 defying convention and becoming the first estate bodied car to compete in the championship.
The legendary T5 2.3L Turbo engine has covered a mere 145k miles and if you know Volvo’s you’ll know with regular servicing such as this one, that just getting started 😂.
