The Bowmore 15 Year Old Aston Martin Edition is one of the standout releases from Bowmore’s collaboration with Aston Martin, bringing together two names built around heritage, craftsmanship and design. Originally released as part of Bowmore’s Designed by Aston Martin collection, this edition was created for global travel retail rather than the standard UK core range. The 15 Year Old was inspired by the Aston Martin Atom, pairing Bowmore’s classic Islay character with a sleek, collectible presentation. Matured in first-fill Bourbon casks and hogsheads, it takes a lighter, more elegant route than some of Bowmore’s heavily sherried expressions, with the focus firmly on citrus, honey, vanilla and gentle smoke. Expect honey, lemon and sweet tobacco on the nose, followed by citrus, vanilla and honeycomb across the palate. The finish brings in Bowmore’s unmistakable coastal character with soft peat smoke, sweet almond and lingering citrus. Bottled at 43% ABV and presented in a larger 1-litre format, it is a strong drinking bottle as well as an attractive collectible.
