Ford Cortina Carousel

It's a 1982 Ford Cortina Carousel!

Much like the Crusader, the Carousel was a run out model at the end of production and featured the distinctive two tone paintwork and Ghia style interior and wooden dash fascia, this one has a few upgrades including Recaro seats, 1.8 Zetec on a manual choke Weber carburettor and a type 9 5 speed manual gearbox.

It goes great and has a deep yet addictive exhaust note and is a lot of fun to razz around. It's been poly bushed and lowered and handles well.

Paintwork is scruffy with plenty of faded areas and natural patina but it's solid in all of the right places. It's recently undergone a fair bit of restoration work in terms of fabrication and welding to a high standard at Rogue Restorations in Lanark but has been left with the original weathered bodywork which is exactly what Cortina's used to look like back in the day before everything had to be super shiny!

It's tax and mot exempt and has 83k miles on the clock!
