This is one of the oldest and rarest Lagavulin releases ever produced. Distilled in 1995 and bottled in 2026, this exceptional 31-year-old single malt ranks among the distillery’s most exclusive whiskies, created for Fèis Ìle, Islay’s renowned annual whisky festival.
Continuing the acclaimed Skies of Fèis Ìle series, which debuted with a 29-year-old expression in 2024, this release was matured in a sibling finishing cask before spending more than a decade in heavily charred, Oloroso-seasoned American oak hogsheads. The extended maturation has created remarkable depth and complexity, revealing rich layers of dark fruit, gentle sweetness, and lingering smoky warmth. Each bottle was hand-filled at the distillery and bottled at a natural cask strength of 51.1% ABV.
