It's a 1964 Land Rover 109 Carmichael Forward Control!

Wow, we've had some unusual stuff up for grabs on Retroshite but is this taking it a step to far?

It's a Forward Control Land Rover Fire Truck built in 1964 and registered on the road in 2012. Do you think it would make a good camper van? If so, you're in for a treat because somebody has went to the bother of fitting a makeshift bed, diesel heater and leisure battery setup!

I'm not sure I'd want to spend a night away in it but each to their own! Side panels fold down into windows for the ultimate dogging experience!

It's powered by a 2.3 petrol engine and manual gearbox, it goes and stops as well as you'd expect a 60's vehicle to although steering at low speeds is a little on the heavy side, no gym membership required after driving this around for 5 minutes!

Tax and Mot exempt and just 27k miles on the clock!

This is a running rolling project that with a bit of spit and polish and a lick of paint will still be absolutely shite!
