The Sonik Gravity X5 HT 15’4″ – 3pc is an upgraded version of the highly regarded Gravity Surf HT, designed to deliver the perfect balance of power, casting performance, and ease of use. Built as a true all-round surfcasting rod, it offers the versatility needed to handle a wide range of fishing situations without compromising distance or control.

Constructed from a super lightweight high modulus carbon blank, the rod provides excellent strength while remaining easy to handle during long sessions. The addition of an X5 multi-directional Nanofibre tip section lay-up enhances responsiveness and recovery speed, helping to generate impressive casting distances with minimal effort.

A key feature is the specially designed Hollow Tip (HT), which offers fast recovery and excellent stability in moving water. It sits well in strong tides and swells while maintaining high sensitivity, allowing anglers to detect bites clearly even at range. The white hollow carbon tip further improves visibility in low-light conditions, making it easier to track subtle takes.

With a casting range of 4–8oz, the Sonik Gravity X5 HT 15’4″ is capable of handling heavier leads and challenging conditions, while still retaining enough finesse to target species such as smoothhound and rays without needing to step up to heavier rods.

The rod is fitted with Fuji Alconite K-Series guides, featuring corrosion-resistant frames that offer up to seven times greater resistance to saltwater corrosion. A Fuji DPS reel seat ensures a secure and stable reel connection, while the shrink-wrapped lower handle provides improved grip during powerful casts.

Designed with practicality in mind, the unground carbon finish at the joints makes it easier to separate the sections after use, even after exposure to saltwater.
