George Grant, 6th Generation of the Grant family owners of Glenfarclas, describes this 25 year old single malt as a perfect dessert dram. It could even be the dessert on its own, as it is so rich and fruity.
Official Tasting Notes
Nose – Tempting aromas of marmalade, honey, freshly ground coffee, a dash of peat, sherry and nuts.
Palate – Full bodied and robust, with sherry notes competing with oaky notes and a nutty smokiness. A beautiful, dark belgian chocolate taste on the finish.
