The first in a series of annual releases, and one of a flurry of expressions launched by Macallan in 2018.
Inspired by the world of surrealist art, the box presents Macallan’s six pillars reimagined through a surrealist lens.
A bright and funky limited edition bottling of The Macallan, Concept No.1 is the first in the series released for the Travel Retail market, inspired by surreal art.
The single malt is crafted from whiskies matured for equal time in both sherry oak and bourbon casks, with the series aiming to imaginatively explore the many choices of maturation.
The packaging is sure to provide some surreal food for thought while you sip this intriguing dram.
The Macallan Concept No. 1 is bottled at an ABV of 40%. Macallan Concept No. 1 is presented in exclusive packaging featuring a surrealist design of the Macallan Six Pillars.
It is made from whiskies matured first in sherry-seasoned oak casks and then for an equal time in ex-bourbon casks.
