A very nice 1965 Ford Mustang factory hardtop coupe, finished in factory X Code Vintage Burgundy Metallic with a rare black GT Pony interior. This is a genuine A Code car, fitted with the 289 V8 and the rare factory 4-speed Borg Warner T10 manual gearbox, giving it the proper “4 on the floor” driving experience. Imported from California, this Mustang is described as a very honest and original car, rather than a concours restoration. It has never been fully restored, with original spot welds still visible on the rear arches, and it remains in very solid overall condition with a few age-related blemishes as expected. It has a strong factory and period-style specification, including Kelsey front discs, Rally Pack dash clocks, Hurst shifter, 3.50:1 rear differential, Grab Track suspension handling package, uprated front and rear roll bars and dampers, plus a vintage Arvinode dual exhaust and headers. It starts, runs and drives very well, selects all gears smoothly, does not overheat, and has the kind of exhaust note you want from a classic Mustang. The car has just been serviced and comes with a fresh clean MOT. An electronic ignition conversion is also supplied, giving the new owner the choice to fit it if preferred.
