I've been on the lookout for one to offer for many years but have never come across one that ticked all the UKMinis boxes, Maverick does & more!

This 1970 MkIII classic Mini, in showroom condition, benefits from a full nut and bolt restoration which started in 2023. Finished in period appropriate Tweed Grey paint with a Snowberry White roof, it has been brought into the 21st century by UK based EV conversion specialists Vass Technology.

He's just had a FULL detail from Time To Shine Doncaster, this includes, decontamination wash, paint cut & polish, engine bay steam and detail plus a full interior deep clean. He's never looked better!

A rolling shell was sourced that had been in storage since the early 1990s. The project aim was to create a fully modernised electric Mini with a range of 150 miles, equally suited to running around town as to cruising country lanes. A Tesla Model S motor was chosen to power the front wheels, and brand-new battery modules were sourced from project partners Fellten, providing a 35kWh capacity. Braking has been comprehensively upgraded with Mini Cooper front disc brakes and regenerative braking from the motor, delivering both improved stopping performance and additional range recovery on every drive.

The interior boasts brand new premium soft tan hide leather and Harris Tweed cloth, a new roof liner and all new door furniture. Getting into the car, it feels as though it has just rolled off the production line.

Since conversion, he has covered 959 miles in total. Maverick holds a full MOT test certificate and is formally registered with the DVLA as an electric vehicle. The Tesla motor delivers effortless performance in Road Sport mode at around 120bhp, moving this Mini off the line with real urgency. An Eco mode restricts output to around 60bhp for a relaxed and easy driving style. Should the owner wish to access more of the available 300bhp for track use, this can be easily mapped with the help of Vass Technology. Also has an LSD fitted at a huge cost!

Vass are also providing a six-month warranty to the winner covering any fault related to the EV conversion, including all labour required to resolve any issue.
