Something a bit different, courtesy of a donation by England Senior Shore Manager John Kerr. You’ll struggle to find this reel for retail anymore, but lucky for you, John has donated a brand new unused version. A bursary will be raised from this competition to support the England Senior Shore Team.

• A classic from the ABU stable has many features and a smart metallic red livery. It has three braking systems including magnetic, centrifugal, and mechanical. The magnetic system is the same as the original mag elite, with the sliding adjustment on the left hand side plate. The centrifugal system now has six break blocks, which gives you the option of using one or more blocks as required, the spare blocks can be locked out of of operation. You can, if necessary, use a little tension on the left hand end cap to add more control. With these three systems it should be possible to completely eliminate overruns, even when casting into a very strong head wind.
