The Gibson Les Paul Modern in Sparkling Burgundy is a U.S.‑made solid‑body electric guitar that blends classic Les Paul construction with modern performance features. It has a mahogany body with a carved top and a set‑in mahogany neck designed for fast playability, paired with an ebony fingerboard that carries 22 medium‑jumbo frets on a 24.75‑inch scale. The Sparkling Burgundy finish highlights the contours of the body and gives it a bold, contemporary look.

This example has been modded with pickups that differ from the original factory set: a Seymour Duncan JB‑59 in the neck position and a DiMarzio Super Distortion in the bridge position. The JB‑59 in the neck offers warm, articulate tones with smooth highs and enhanced clarity, while the Super Distortion in the bridge delivers high output, thick mids, and aggressive drive suited to rock and heavier styles. Controls remain the standard Les Paul layout with two Volume knobs, two Tone knobs, and a three‑way toggle switch to select between neck, bridge, or both pickups.

Hardware includes a Tune‑O‑Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece for reliable intonation and sustain, plus vintage‑style tuners and chrome appointments that complement the finish. The combination of modern neck profile and high‑output pickups gives this Les Paul Modern a versatile voice that spans from smooth cleans to powerful, driven tones.
