WIN THIS LOCHLEA 2018 7 YEAR OLD – BRAND NEW RELEASE!
This is the oldest release so far from farm to bottle distillery, Lochlea. Comprising of seven first fill bourbon casks filled in 2018, it has plenty of the tropical fruit and patisserie notes we love from the Lowland producer. Lochlea is one of the few distilleries that grow 100% of their own barley, utilising farmland on their Ayrshire estate.
Official Tasting Notes
Nose – Beautifully creamy with fruity stewed apple notes
Palate – Rich and creamy, tropical fruit notes, a touch of apple, fresh oak
Finish – Buttery pastry, cereal notes, warming spice, tart green apple slices
